Six days ago on Saturday 13th July, several thousand people gathered together in the Central Otago town of Wanaka for many different reasons. Some people turned up to see a rugby game, some people turned up as they were working and some people went because it was a unique event.
While the rugby last only 80 minutes, here’s 34 reasons why last Saturdays fixture between Thames Valley and Otago played at the Wanaka Showgrounds was more than just a game.
