The tape, the boots and the beer.

It was interesting to read today that the ORFU are following similar moves by other rugby unions around the South Island (and country)   and are dropping representative teams from under-14 and below to focus on developing  coaching programmes for junior players instead. This will no doubt be a hotly debated topic with both strong arguments for and against having the teams. One of the strongest points for dropping the teams must be as stated that  there are increasingly fewer teams to even play against anyway.
