The semi finalists for the 2020 season have been found. Next week’s semi finals will be contested between Harbour, Taieri, University and Southern.

At Bishopscourt, University overcame Kaikorai to advance to the semi finals with a 28 – 21 win. Kaikorai scored an early try to first five Ben Miller and then again to flanker Christian Lio-Willie while University responded with a series of penalties. University grabbed the lead with a try after 1 minute of the second half before scoring twice more to take a 28 to 14 lead. Kaikorai scored again with 10 minutes left however University held on to claim a 28 – 21 victory.

Around the grounds in other premier matches this afternoon, Southern upset Taieri to win 7 – 5 at Peter Johnson Park while over at Kettle Park Harbour were victorious over Dunedin with a last minute penalty to record a 13 to 10.
