A clinical first half performance and a powerful scrum set the platform for Harbour at Watson Park this afternoon. It didn’t take long for All Black wing Waisake Naholo to open the scoring after a nice move down the wing put him into space. From there, Harbour went on to build a 31 – 7 lead at halftime and had extended it by the end of the game to 45 – 14. Kaikorai’s only second half try came from Sam Wyber who sprint from well inside his own half to dot down.
In other matches, an injury hit Dunedin defeated Zingari Richmond 36 -3, while Green Island was victorious over Alhambra Union 43 – 19. At Bathgate Park, University won the prestigious V.G. Cavanagh Memorial 31 – 16 over Southern.
