The tight competition continues with a change at the top of the table in Dunedin as Harbour go a head after defeating Zingari Richmond and Green Island lost to Kaikorai . At Kettle Park, it was a game of counter punch after counter punch for the first 60 minutes as Southern and Dunedin clashed for the Ron Reggett Memorial trophy. However it was all Southern in the last 20 minutes as Dunedin ran out of steam for Southern to post a 21 point win. In other results Taieri defeated Alhambra Union, Kaikorai got the win over Green Island and Harbour posted a big score in defeating Zingari Richmond
