The top 6 for the 2020 club season in Dunedin has been found. Taieri has finished in top spot followed by Kaikorai, Dunedin, Harbour, University and Southern.

At Miller Park, Dunedin finished the first round with a 24 – 14 victory over Green Island. After leading 12 – 7 at halftime, the Sharks went on to secure the win which not only seals third spot and a home quarter final, but also the Griffin Memorial and Terry Murphy Memorial Trophy’s. For the Grizzlies, they finish the season with 1 win from 8 starts, ending the season in 8th spot after making the semi finals in 2019.

Around the grounds in other premier matches this afternoon in Dunedin, Taieri won the Downie Stewart Challenge Trophy and the Speight’s Challenge Shield with a 55 – 14 win over Zingari Richmond at Peter Johnstone Park while Harbour won the Ricoh Ross Goodman Memorial by beating Alhambra Union 23 – 20 at the North Ground. At Bathgate Park Kaikorai defeated Southern 21 -18 and won the Frank Cadman Trophy.
