Portrait Of A Rugby Player
One thing that the Covid 19 Lockdown reminded me is how sport is about people. It’s great to capture action, but it’s also great to capture images of people. Traditional portraits often involve a person looking directly at an artist or is carefully composed. The in-game portraits I look for are more of a representation of a person while trying to communicate the mood of rugby.
To me, these portraits are as much about the game as they are of the person.
